HISTORY

     In 1966, Ekşioğlu Foresty Products was established in Istanbul, Turkey as a family business by Halit Ekşioğlu, a retired army officer.

    In 1976, Sarpay Ekşioğlu participated in the family business and Fikirtepe Branch was established.

    In 1990, Serdar Ekşioğlu joined to the company. After this partnership, the company gained strength and increased its effectiveness in the sector by opening Pendik Branch in addition to Fikirtepe Store.

     Since its foundation, the company has managed to keep its strong position in sector in spite of drastic economic crises during last several decades in Turkey. Moreover, the company enhanced its competitive advantage through establishing Gebze timber factory in 1996 , which is one the biggest among its counterparts and opening  Modoko Branch in 2000. 

     In 2006, the capital structure of the company changed as Serdar Ekşioğlu gained the majority of company shares. The company strengthened its capital structure with this development.

     Today, Ekşioğlu Foresty Products remains well known family owned company in sector with its tradition of quality products & service, high ethical standars in trade and commitment of its one hundred professionals to make a difference.
