OSB EGGER GROUP

In the production of Oriented Strand Board ( OSB ), the logs are cut to thin, rectangular wooden strips. After the strands are dried and oriented in cross directional layers, they are laid to form large continuous mats. The mat is placed in a thermal press and panels are then cut from the mats in standard sizes.

Regarding to the types of adhesives used in production, OSB can be classified as Osb 2
and Osb 3. While Osb 2 has limited water resistance, Osb 3 has good level of resistance to humudity. The most common application areas of Osb are walls, floors and roofs.
